CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

The class will incorporate gentle movement connected to breath. This class will move slowly and intentionally. This class will typically have a lot of seated stretching and may spend some exploring gentle standing and balancing poses. However, it will not require multiple times getting up and down from the mat. This class will offer lots of support to modify and also encourage using props to support your body. This class is perfect if you are just getting acquainted with yoga and looking to relieve some stress and tension in the body. This is also deeply beneficial for all levels of practitioner.

This class will focus on connection of breath to movement (vinyasa). This class is designed to build strength and challenge to the body. This class will provide more difficulty in selected postures and pace for the practitioner. You do not need any previous yoga experience for this class. However, this class may not be a good fit if you have trouble bearing weight on your joints (Specifically wrists and shoulders) or trouble getting up and down from the floor.
However, modifications and rest always available as needed and we always advocate for people to try any class they would like as long as they are open to learning, resting, and staying patient with themselves!

The class will focus on long, static holds designed to target deep connective tissues, joints, and bones. Most poses are on the back, prone, or seated. This is a wonderful class to increase your range of motion or maintain, or increase mobility and flexibility. This style will aid in hydrating tissues and muscles, and calming the nervous system. Yin can also assist in releasing muscular and emotional tension in the body. This class is suitable for all levels of yoga experience.
This class will be set up with the calming light of votives to invoke a deep state of tranquility.

The class will use essential oils and incense to enhance your yoga experience and assist with uplifting, grounding, or calming during your practice. Class will be a middle ground between gentle and vinyasa flow. This is a great class to try if you are starting yoga to get a bit more strength and challenge, but want a less work for t e body then a vinyasa and the juicy stress relieving benefits of gentle. No previous yoga experience necessary, just enjoy the scents and experience. Modifications and rest always available as needed.

This class is a donation based class focused on supporting a local community effort! This class will use the assistance of a chair to help us feel supported and stable. Great class for people who have limited mobility, dealing with injuries, who want to start an exercise program, or feel more comfortable seated off of the floor. This is also an excellent class if you have a job working seated and would like to explore ways to move the body while seated. This class is suitable for all experience levels.

This class involves holding poses for longer periods of time while being completely supported by props so you can release all muscular effort. Along with the restorative poses, participants will be guided through a Yoga Nidra meditation which invites rest and relaxation through body sensing, breath awareness and guided imagery.
Some of the benefits of Yoga Nidra include deep sense of relaxation and calm which can help reduce stress, anxiety, insomnia, regulate blood pressure and the immune system. Twenty minutes of Yoga Nidra can feel like 2-3 hours of deep sleep.

This will be a 45 min class designed for people who need a break from work or break from their day to get a gentle stretch to neck, hips, and back, reset their nervous system, and relieve stress through breathing. Class will end with a loving kindness meditation to open hearts and help cultivate a spirit of kindness towards ourselves and others. All donations will be set aside for karmic outreach efforts.

This is a 75 min class. This class will start with gentle movement that moves slowly and intentionally. Most poses will be seated or on the back however there may be some classes that incorporate standing postures. Class will gradually move to a yin practice focusing on long static holds held for 3-5 minutes. Essential oils and scents will also be used to help enhance the experience of this class.
This class is a great if you are just getting acquainted with yoga but is deeply beneficial for all practitioners.

This class will be 75 min long. It will start with grounding, and pranayama (breathing). Class will move into warm ups and sun salutations followed by a sequence of asanas (postures) that could include seated, standing, and balancing. Class will conclude with a meditation and close with Savasana (relaxation). This class is suitable for beginners but may want to be cautious if you have trouble bearing weight on your shoulders, wrists or trouble getting from the floor to standing.
